Enriched air (nitrox) has more oxygen and less nitrogen than regular air, which extends your no-decompression limits — especially on the second and third dives of the day.
It's a mostly-theory course: you learn how to analyse a tank, set your computer for nitrox, and manage the maximum-depth limits that come with breathing a richer mix.
